Building Relationships as a Way to Market

At my Legal Blogwatch beat, I posted here about marketing through building relationships with other lawyers and prospective and existing clients. As I discuss, one tool that is faciliating relationship building is Face Book - so maybe it's time that you got yourself an account.

By coincidence, I printed out a post at Web Worker Daily today entitled "12 Ways to Use facebook Professionally." I'm not sold on it yet, but I plan to give it a try.

As I posted at http://beckandlee.wordpress.com/2007/07/21/facebook-for-law-firms/ , getting a Facebook account was one of the first things I did after opening my own law practice. I think the user population is still on the young side, but you are going to see a lot more business done via Facebook in the coming years. A presence there will soon be as indispensable as a law firm website has become.
